We Love Transport Projects
Trains, buses, integrated transport systems, drivers’ licenses, as well as free riders and road closures. At Ewing, we love transport projects, whether it’s communication with media, work on social networks, design, video, animation, or a conceptual communications strategy. Have a look at some of the transport projects we successfully completed for our clients.
Are you a free rider?
It can happen to anyone, but there are those who do it often… or even all the time. So how can you reduce the number of free riders in Prague? One way is to work with ROPID (Prague’s integrated transport company), City Hall, and with the Prague Public Transport company on a systematic, considered, and long-term campaign that shines a spotlight on free riders. You may have even run into Vymlouvačka, our tram plastered with people’s excuses for not having a ticket!
Transport Animation
We love to help clients tell their stories. Don’t think that works with transport? Big mistake! Every bus line, construction site, or change can have its own story. And then we give that story to our imaginative animators.
Cyklohráček
How do you return travellers to a rail line around the Okoř castle that regular trains haven’t use in years? One way is work with ROPID and Czech Rail to transform a regular train into one that’s a huge playroom on rails! It’s a train for cyclists, children, and all those who want to have fun while on their way for a day trip. A conductor will check your tickets, but the trip from Prague past Okoř to Slaný really starts when the funductor arrives!
Transport on Social Networks
Public transport is a public matter and people need to have someone they can talk to about it, especially if they have a problem, a connection isn’t running as usual, or need the latest information. That was the chief reason we helped launched communication on social networks for the Ústí region’s transport company. It’s not just about pretty pictures and videos, but complex social network administration including community management – meaning we’re the ones talking to people.
We Fine-Tuned Prague
Polaď Prahu (Fine-Tune Prague) is the main slogan of Prague’s sustainable mobility plan. It was created over two years and includes a wealth of fascinating aspects ranging from a complex communication strategy to working with the public, moderating and leading specialized workshops, and preparing exhibitions, public events, a brochure, the art design of the project, and its website.
A Spokesman on the Front Lines
Every client ends up in front of a camera eventually. Sometimes it’s for the right reasons, and sometimes not. This is also true of transport projects, even especially so. They often attract more attention because they affect everyone’s lives. Our colleague Martin spent months putting on Arriva’s corporate button-down shirt, tie, and even their jacket when the weather called for it to be available to journalists nonstop.
Prague Road Closures
You’re on your way to work and all of a sudden, the road you always take is closed. You’re angry, in a rush, and you start seeking a detour. But what if Prague let you know about the closure beforehand so this doesn’t happen? We prepared a complex communication strategy for the city that announces road closures.
Disseminating Drivers’ License Issuance Authority
It may sound complicated, but it’s a very useful thing. Since July 2018, you can get a driver’s license in any municipality with expanded authority and you don’t have to go to the place of your permanent residence, nor do you need a printed photograph. And this isn’t just about drivers’ licenses, but other administrative actions important for professional drivers, for example.
